In our new monthly feature, Matthew and I  discuss August in the Garden. August is the month where the garden can really get away from you. We go through a list of areas to deal with in August. There is a lot to think about in the August garden; weeding, watering, pruning japanese maples, Japanese Beetles and nematodes.We also discuss some great plants that you can add to the August Garden for late summer and fall colour.  We want you to have a low maintenance garden all year and some of the things you do in your August garden can benefit you the rest of the year.
