September in the Garden

September in the Garde‘DOWN THE GARDEN PATH’ RADIO SHOW

In our regular monthly feature episode, Matthew and I  discuss September in the Garden. September is the month when the garden slows down a little.  We discuss tips for bargain hunters, sourcing bulbs early and discuss the how it is the best time to divide or move your peony.  September is also a good time to plant September stars in the garden like:

  • Sedums
  • Goldenrods
  • Toad lilies
  • Asters
  • Caryopteris
  • Butterfly bush

We want you to have a low maintenance garden all year and September gardening and chores will ensure your garden has a fabulous Spring!
