Gratitude and Patience!

As the long weekend ends and July is upon us I have been thinking about how my spring has gone. It went so fast it is hard to believe summer is here. But I think it went well. I have found my customers really excited about working in their yards this year…from the do it yourselfers who were excited to get a plan of action to the ones we had installed. Everyone was thrilled! Even last thursday night,  before the long weekend I had an appointment and the couple were so excited to have a plan of action. So that’s why I am feeling grateful, I enjoy the flexibility that my job gives me, I love working outside  and I enjoy working with people who get what I do.

Great Landscapes start with a plan!

And another thing my own personal garden has taught be is patience. For the most part I am really happy how my 6 year old garden is coming along but I have a few areas and plants that I am struggling with.

I love hydrangeas and have several varieties but my Oakleaf hydrangea has been testing my patience. This year it has finally bloomed, after 5 years and 2 locations. I am not sure if it is the new location or the mild winter either way I am happy!

Take a look!
